For the accents on this sneaker, we partnered with a gold-rated tannery to produce chrome-free suede. Chrome-free suede is tanned without the use of chromium, a chemical that's both harmful to the environment and makes the leather non-biodegradable. By using chrome-free suede, we're helping to protect the environment and the artisans in our manufacturing process without sacrificing the desired aesthetic.
